Alberto Burzi's passion for agriculture was ignited by his grandparents, inspiring him to study oenology and take over the family vineyards in 2011. Today, alongside his sister Caterina, the dynamic duo cultivates several prime Barolo parcels, including the esteemed 90-year-old Capalot, employing meticulous viticultural techniques like 'tressage' and cover cropping to produce small, optimally ripe berries. Each wine is refined in Stockinger casks, specially customized for Alberto using steam instead of toast, resulting in wines that boast compelling concentration and an almost ethereal weightlessness. Their unwavering commitment to quality and tradition continues to elevate the family's legacy in the wine world.
