Our patio is open all year round! In the summer you can bask under the 37-year-old grapevines planted by the former owner Christos. In the winter you will find it enclosed and heated, so you can cozy up during the colder months.

In 2019, we opened Ontario's first ever independent bottle shop less than 24 hours after the take-out alcohol laws were changed. Today our bottle shop is a thriving stomping-ground for our community of wine, beer and cider lovers. We carry our own bottles alongside the best wines from all over the world. Available at our Bloor location and online.

A true paradise
Our name, Paradise Grapevine, pays homage to the former bar and restaurant that occupied and still defines our space - Menalon Restaurant. We will be forever grateful to have been passed on such a remarkable and beautiful space to make our own. Today Christos and Athina are still our landlords and have been our greatest supporters. Without their trust, we never would have had the opportunity to occupy this paradise.

Our by-the-glass wine list changes daily and focuses on natural and low-intervention wines from around the world. We have an extensive draft list of local beer and cider and a short cocktail list. We always carry a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. All our retail bottles are available to drink at the bar ($20 corkage fee applies).

The bar is elevated 5 stairs off the sidewalk. Our washrooms are non-accessible and are located in the basement via a stairwell.
Paradise Grapevine is an inclusive space, we will not tolerate hate of any kind. Please be nice to our staff as they are the soul of our business.
Our patio is open all year round and is partially covered. In the colder months we enclose and heat part of the patio. We still recommend wearing warm clothing, especially in the coldest months.
This location is walk-in only and do not take reservations. If you have a large group request please send an email to kristen@paradisegrapevine.com. Our space is dynamic and tables turn over quickly. You are welcome to sit, stand or chill at the bar.
