Bertolani is a fourth generation-owned family winery that was established in 1925 by Alfredo Bertolani in Scandiano. Bertolani's grapes come from the hillsides and foothills in the south of the Reggiano Emilia province.

Rosso all' Antica is the oldest label of the winery. The name literally means 'old style red' aiming to recall how this wine is created fully respecting the ancient traditions. Old style Lambrusco is dry, exuberantly frothy with light tannins and usually a pleasantly bitter finish.
