Domaine Philippe Viet is a true passion project, a small but dynamic operation that is quickly gaining a reputation for crafting pure, elegant, and deeply expressive Beaujolais wines that are a testament to their terroir.
From the beginning, Philippe Viet has worked his vineyards without chemicals and is actively in the process of obtaining organic certification for all his plots. His wines are made with minimal intervention and low sulfur.

In the cellar, his philosophy is to guide the grapes, not force them. He uses gentle techniques, like whole-bunch fermentation and gentle pressing, to avoid over-extraction and preserve the delicate aromas and flavors.

He uses a variety of aging vessels, including concrete vats, sandstone amphoras, and 500-liter oak barrels (puncheons). This allows him to fine-tune the character of each cuvée, from the fruity and fresh to the more structured and cellar-worthy.
